On Saturday night, September 14th, Arlington firefighters responded to a rescue situation at Six Flags after a rail car on the Pandemonium rollercoaster stalled. Three people, including one adult and two children, were trapped after a sweater became lodged between the car and the rail, causing the ride to stop.
The rail car was suspended 16 to 20 feet in the air at a 45-degree angle. Arlington firefighters worked for approximately an hour to rescue all three individuals. No injuries were reported.
The incident is currently under investigation.
