ADAs Dale Smith and Allenna Bangs

The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office has announced that Assistant District Attorneys Allenna Bangs and Dale Smith have been awarded the C. Chris Marshall Distinguished Faculty Award by the Texas District & County Attorneys Association (TDCAA).

The award, named in memory of former Tarrant County prosecutor C. Chris Marshall who was killed in a 1992 shooting, recognizes Texas prosecutors who significantly contribute to the legal profession through training and mentorship.

"They are high caliber prosecutors who assist colleagues within their own office, as well as those across the state," TDCAA stated, adding that they have "significantly raised the quality of prosecution in Texas."

Recipients of the C. Chris Marshall Award are selected by a committee from TDCAA, reflecting their impact on the legal community through their dedication and training efforts.
