North Texas Business Alliance (NTBA) formerly known as NTTA will host its first Exhibition and Trade Expo on Sunday, December 4th. 2011 at the Irving Convention Center.
Over 800 business owners and operators from North Texas and the surrounding areas have registered to attend the mega event. In addition, 65 vendors will showcase their products and services including Coke, Dr Pepper, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Sarah Lee and other fortune 500 companies servicing the retail industry.
Honorable Mayor Beth Van Duyne of Irving will inaugurate the event and deliver the keynote speech. The inauguration will follow with educational seminars highlighting Estate planning, Wills and Trusts, Credit Card Fraud and Crime Prevention along with competitive analysis of prevailing markets and environmental issues impacting the Convenience Store and Gas Station industry.
Representatives from Texas State Comptroller office, TABC and TCEQ will advise members about the existing and upcoming laws and regulations required for compliance. This event will also provide an excellent opportunity for high impact networking and exchange of ideas for business owners and other participants.
In keeping with holidays and the spirit of giving, the event is partnering with US Marines Toys for Tots program and through its network of members will donate over a thousand toys for the program at the conclusion of the event on Sunday.
North Texas Business Association (NTBA) was founded in January 2000 with just 134 members, in response to the growing need to promote the concerns of independent, first generation business owners of Northern Texas, primarily in the Gasoline Stations and Convenience Stores. NTBA membership has been consistently growing from its humble beginning to a current total of 700 member stores.
