Girls Basketball Playoffs: MacArthur Too Strong for Plano West

The Lady Cardinals advanced to the Regional Semifinals after defeating Plano West 67-60.  This is the second year that Plano West gets ousted by the Cardinals.

Alexis Jones onces again provided strong play for MacArthur who finished with 35 points and 8 rebounds.  14 of Jones' points came in the fourth quarter. 

Plano West (34-3) played a solid game, but could not defend Jones.   Brea Mitchell led the way for the Lady Wolves with 20 points.

MacArhur will play Lubbock's Coronado in the Region I Semifinals this friday (Feb. 24).
