Single-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 820 in Saginaw Results in Fatality

SAGINAW, Texas — Early Friday morning, August 8, 2025, at approximately 3:03 a.m., Saginaw Police, along with Saginaw Fire and Fort Worth Fire/EMS, responded to a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound lanes of Hwy 820 near Blue Mound Road.

Officers arrived to find a vehicle on fire in the median between Hwy 820 and the eastbound exit service road. The sole occupant had been removed from the vehicle by bystanders and was found lying in the median. Despite life-saving efforts by officers and EMS personnel, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to assist with the investigation.
