Plano Crash Leaves One Pedestrian Dead, Another Injured After Rollover

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, around 8 a.m., Plano Police and Plano Fire-Rescue responded to a serious crash at the intersection of Parkwood Boulevard and Legacy Drive.

According to the preliminary investigation, a gray Kia Niro traveling westbound on Legacy Drive attempted a left turn onto southbound Parkwood Boulevard. The Kia struck the rear driver’s side of a gray Ford Bronco traveling eastbound, causing the Bronco to roll over.

During the rollover, the Bronco struck two pedestrians on the sidewalk near the intersection. Both were transported to a local hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. The second pedestrian is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Neither of the drivers involved in the crash sustained injuries. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Police are asking motorists to use caution in the area as the Plano Police Traffic Unit continues its investigation.
