Should the Cowboys trade for Anquan Boldin?
Coach Ken Whisenhunt from the Arizona Cardinals said Wednesday the team is willing to listen to offers for WR Anquan Boldin.
Come on, Jerry, make it happen! Boldin wants to be paid and Jerry has money, sounds like a win-win situation here. Sure the Cowboys keep saying they have a #1 receiver in Roy Williams, but besides the one good year, what has Roy done? If we use last year as an example, the answer is nothing!
Anquan is a proven receiver that was a big part of the Cardinals surprising run to the Super Bowl last year. In 2008, he caught 89 passes for 1,038, scoring 11 touchdowns, and he missed 4 games in the regular reason. He is still in his prime being 28 years old.
I'm not sure what Arizona is asking for him and I imagine it's going to be a lot, but Jerry knows how to wheel-and-deal. Should it happen? Could it happen? I'll tell you what... you add Boldin to our offense (a younger and better version of T.O. without the attitude problems) and the Cowboys will be playing in the superbowl in February, 2010.
