Irving Defeats Nimitz in Blowout 10-0
Irving rolled over Nimitz 10-0 on Thursday at Irving High after an eight-run rally in the fourth inning.
Morgan Wang boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace Irving. She singled in the third and fourth innings.
McKensie Goodman had an impressive outing against Nimitz's lineup. Nimitz managed just one hit off of Goodman, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during her five innings of work. It was Goodman’s 15th win of the season and improves Irving’s record to 5-3 in District 6-5A.
