Mavs' Terry is NBA's Sixth Man of the Year
League sources have confirmed that Jason Terry has been voted the NBA's sixth man of the year. There is no doubt that the Mavericks are in the playoffs thanks, in part, to Terry's willingness to come off the bench to provide scoring and energy.
"The thing I respect and admire most about Jet is he's a team guy. He makes it about winning." Coach Carlisle said.
Terry averaged 19.6 points per game during this season, but that's not the whole story. He provides energy and a spirit that lifts his teammates around him. His scoring has come at cruicial points during games.
Jason attributes his success to Carlisle getting him involved in games.
The Mavericks will hold a press conference to announce the award on Friday.
