Ranchview Students Qualify For State Track Meet

Two Ranchview students are on their way to the UIL State 3-A Track and Field Meet. The meet is June 5 and 6 in Austin.

Shanice Randall jumped 18' 7-1/4" in the girls' Long Jump to take second place.  Kingsley Nwoha was the regional champion in the boys' 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.89.  At the State Meet, Shanice will jump at 1:30 p.m. on Fri., June 5, and Kingsley will run at 12:55 p.m. on Sat., June 6. 

In addition to these accomplishments, the Ranchview girls' team finished in fourth place at the Region II-3A Meet, ahead of all other 11-3A teams.  The Ranchview boys' team finished in ninth place and second among 11-3A schools.
