Four Irving ISD High Schools Competing in Soccer Playoffs this Weekend
Four Irving ISD soccer teams qualified for the state playoffs this year.
The MacArthur girls soccer team finished second in District 7-6A with a record of 12-4-3 and the Irving Nimitz girls team placed fourth with a 11-7-3 record.
On the boys side, the Irving Tigers finished third in district play and NImitz fifth.
All four teams will play in the bi-district round on Friday, March 24. The schedule is as follows:
- MacArthur girls vs. San Angelo Central at Bulldawgs Soccer Field in Copperas Cove, 2 p.m.
- Irving boys vs. San Angelo Central at Bulldawgs Soccer Field in Copperas Cove, 4 p.m.
- Nimitz girls vs. Waco Midway at Mansfield ISD Vernon Newsom Stadium, 6 p.m.
- Nimitz boys vs. Belton at Waco Midway HS Soccer Complex, 7 p.m.
