MacArthur Senior Named McDonald’s Scholar Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to MacArthur High School soccer standout Delaney Castor on being named the McDonald’s High School Scholar Athlete of the Month. The award, presented by CBS Dallas, honors outstanding student athletes who excel in sports, in the classroom and in the community. CBS sports reporter Bill Jones (left) presented the award and a $1,000 scholarship to Delaney at soccer practice last week. Watch him surprise Delaney with the announcement in this CBS 11 segment.
