Fort Worth Carter-Riverside Defeats Ranchview 9 - 6
Omar Arcos' 31-yard field goal with 3:03 left in the fourth quarter gave Carter-Riverside the District 11-3A win.
Carter-Riverside (3-5, 2-2) scored on a 16-yard run by Danny Nipp in the first quarter. Ranchview (3-4, 1-2) made it 9-6 with 1:38 to go on a 15-yard TD pass from Matt Haselroth to Xavier Williams.
Riverside forced five turnovers – three fumbles and two interceptions but couldn't capitalize. Riverside reached the Ranchview 1-yard line three times, but managed only three points.
Jalen Moore led Riverside with 97 yards on 27 carries and completed 12 of 17 passes for 150 yards.
Dovian Ingram paced Ranchview with 75 yards on 17 carries.
