Irving no match for Keller
The Keller Indians (Keller, TX) football routed the visiting Irving Tigers, 45-7, in Friday's non-league game.
Irving was crushed by the Keller Indians 45 to 7. Keller scored 28 unanswered points in the second quarter on the way to an easy win. Keller led 35-0 with eight minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Irving's Paul Atwood had a tough game as a quarterback. He completed 13 of 26 passes for 118 yards, but was sacked three times for a total loss of 41 yards. One a few spotlights was wide receiver Michael Vaughn who had six catches for 93 yards.
Keller had 403 yards in total offense.
