Dallas Police Employee Arrested on Felony Food Stamp Fraud Charge
On March 13, 2025, Dallas Police Research Specialist Patsy Evans, 58, turned herself in to the Dallas Sheriff’s Office for an outstanding warrant for Food Stamps Use/Alter/Transfer over $200, a third-degree felony.
Evans, who has been with the department since 2012, is assigned to the Operational Technology Unit. She has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation.
