Lyft Driver Shot by Passenger in South Fort Worth, Suspect at Large

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Fort Worth police responded to a shooting near the 8100 block of Cassie Lane at approximately 7:53 p.m. Authorities report that an adult male Lyft driver was shot three times by a passenger he had just dropped off at the location.

The driver sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
